About the job
Under the umbrella of the children and youth institutions BS, the Salvation Army Switzerland runs the Schlössli located in Basel. The Schlössli is a social pedagogical institution that cares for up to 22 female young people aged 12 to 23 in two residential groups and six external apartments.The young people, who cannot remain in their original system due to challenging life situations, are accompanied in their daily lives and supported in their developmental tasks according to a trauma-pedagogical and systemic solution-oriented approach.
Your tasks
- Collaboration in a motivated team
- Accompanying and promoting the young people
- Case work
- Cooperation with UPK-Basel (University Psychiatric Clinic)
- Contact with parents, authorities, training places
- Night and weekend shifts, irregular working hours
Your profile
- Social pedagogical training HF / FH
- Professional experience with young people
- Joy, commitment and initiative in accompanying young people
- Resilience and flexibility
- CAS practice trainers in social work desired
