Tasks:
- psychodiagnostic and psychotherapeutic indication activities
- writing reports on cases followed or assessed
- psychological support activities including work and updating of medical records and other registration and/or statistical tasks required
- within the activities of the team coordinated and supervised by the head of service and the Head of the Psychology and Psychotherapy Service, the Psychologist I or Psychologist II is responsible for consulting activities regarding their specific skills, at public, para-public and private entities and structures, and is responsible for the training and supervision of assistant psychologists
Requirements:
- diploma or license or bachelor+master in psychology obtained at a Swiss university or, if obtained at a foreign university, federal recognition of the diploma issued by the Commission of Psychological Professions PsiCo (according to art. 2 and 3 of the Federal Law on Psychological Professions (LPPsi))
- authorization in the Canton of Ticino to practice as a psychologist active in the health sector (see details in special notes)
- authorization in the Canton of Ticino to practice as a psychotherapist (see details in special notes)
- experience in the public psychiatric field (over 3 years) may be a preferred qualification
- ability to work in a multidisciplinary team, proactive attitude, adaptability, empathy and relational skills
- possess an adequate psycho-attitudinal profile for the exercise of the profession
- knowledge of the territory, social services and the social-health network of the Canton of Ticino
- perfect command of the Italian language and knowledge of another official language, spoken and written
Special notes:
- Candidates with psychologist title:
- candidates with a psychologist title, with recognition issued by the Commission of Psychological Professions (PsiCo) in case of foreign titles but not yet in possession of authorization in the Canton of Ticino to practice as a psychologist active in the health sector, are granted 6 months from the appointment decision to obtain it
- candidates with a psychologist title obtained at a foreign university, but not yet in possession of recognition from the Commission of Psychological Professions (PsiCo), are granted 6 months from the appointment decision to obtain it together with authorization in the Canton of Ticino to practice as a psychologist active in the health sector
- the actual start of activity of the selected candidate is subject to obtaining authorization in the Canton of Ticino to practice as a psychologist active in the health sector. Failure to obtain the required qualifications within 6 months from the appointment decision will result in automatic termination
- within 4 years from the start of activity, obtaining authorization in the Canton of Ticino to practice as a psychotherapist is required. During this period, employment will be in the form of a contract (art. 15 and 16 LORD). Failure to obtain it will result in definitive termination of the employment relationship
- Candidates with psychotherapist title:
- candidates with a psychotherapist title with recognition issued by the Commission of Psychological Professions (PsiCo) in case of foreign titles but not yet in possession of authorization in the Canton of Ticino to practice as a psychotherapist, are granted 6 months from the appointment decision to obtain it

Employment conditions:
- appointment or contract: as provided by the Law on the organization of State employees and teachers of March 15, 1995 (LORD) and the related Regulation. Any changes in law concerning salary and organization are explicitly reserved
- working hours: 42 hours per week (for a 100% employment relationship), flexible or according to service needs
