In this role as Process Excellence Expert, you will strengthen the Information & Technology business unit at Zurich Switzerland in the area of Enterprise Architecture & Planning and make an important contribution to our shared success.

Together with the process management team, you will transfer the fundamentals of Process Excellence into the daily practice of business units and change initiatives. You actively participate in projects and workshops, analyse and model processes, support teams in developing target processes, and apply methods and digital tools practically. In addition, you further develop these approaches based on your practical experience and help shape the use of artificial intelligence in process modelling and analysis.

What to expect

• You develop practical modelling guidelines, templates and aids based on BPMN for designing and analysing end-to-end processes and support their consistent application in business units and IT teams
• You support projects and process initiatives with concrete analyses, jointly develop comprehensible as-is and to-be models as well as actionable improvement proposals with process managers, departments and business analysts, and consolidate process, risk and control information in shared models and tools
• You prepare process workshops, conduct them together with the departments, document the results and enable teams through training and coaching to independently apply methods and tools.
• You consolidate and analyse process data, prepare key figures on quality, throughput times and transaction costs, support the measurement of improvements together with departments and finance, and create understandable evaluations and decision-making bases for the Process Excellence Council
• You coordinate the professional development of our process management tooling, especially ARIS, translate user needs from business and IT teams into requirements, accompany tests and the introduction of new functions, and help shape the use of artificial intelligence in process modelling and analysis

What distinguishes you

• University degree in business informatics, business administration, industrial engineering or a related field or a comparable qualification as well as several years of practical experience in process management, process analysis, business analysis or the methodological support of process improvements.
• Very good knowledge of process modelling with BPMN, as well as experience with process management tools. Knowledge of ARIS is an advantage
• Analytical strength and experience in preparing and evaluating data as well as interest in process metrics, cost analyses and clear visualisations.
• Technical understanding and enthusiasm for testing new tool functions and AI applications and translating them into practical solutions for users.
• An independent, structured way of working as well as good communication skills in German and English.
