What you can achieve:
- Responsibility for the further development of manufacturing technologies such as injection moulding, automation, extrusion or joining technologies for the highly automated production of plastic consumables
- Development and definition of manufacturing concepts and production processes for new products and product changes
- Ensuring a production-friendly, robust and economical product design through Design for Manufacturing
- Industrialisation of new products, processes and manufacturing technologies from the concept phase to series production
- Specification, procurement and implementation of tools, equipment and production systems
- Establishment, standardisation and harmonisation of manufacturing standards within the global production network
- Building expertise as well as evaluating and introducing new manufacturing technologies
- Close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders throughout the entire product lifecycle
What you bring with you:
- Completed studies (FH/ETH/University) in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, systems engineering, production or automation technology
- Several years of experience in manufacturing, process or industrial engineering related to industrialisation and series production of technical products, preferably of plastic consumables in medical technology
- Solid knowledge in at least one of the manufacturing technologies automation, injection moulding, extrusion or joining of plastics
- Experience in the development, optimisation and implementation of manufacturing processes and production systems
- Understanding of Design for Manufacturing as well as production-friendly product and process design
- Knowledge in process validation and qualification of production processes is an advantage
- Experience in regulated environments, ideally medical technology, is an advantage
- Structured, independent and solution-oriented working style
- Very good German and English skills, spoken and written
- Willingness to travel occasionally (< 20%)
