As a Senior Anaplan Model Builder, you take on a key role: you build models for Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), connect them with our reporting world around Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, SQL and Databricks - and pass on your Anaplan knowledge to less experienced colleagues.

What you do

• You design and build planning, forecast and simulation models in Anaplan - from model architecture through calculation logic to understandable views and dashboards.
• You gather requirements from our controlling colleagues, structure them and translate them into professional concepts, user stories and scalable model solutions.
• You integrate and automate the Anaplan solution into our reporting infrastructure around Power BI, Microsoft Azure/Fabric, SQL and Databricks - for reliable and traceable data flows.
• You train junior and less experienced model builders and act as a sparring partner for our internal customers.

• You work closely with Finance, IT, Data Engineers and BI Specialists as well as with the global Anaplan team and ensure that our business unit requirements and group standards align.

What you bring

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Informatics, Computer Science, Economics or a comparable qualification with a suitable specialisation.
• At least 3 years of experience as an Anaplan Model Builder including model design; an Anaplan certification (e.g. Model BLevel 3 or Solution Architect) is a plus.
• Solid understanding of finance and controlling: profit and loss account, balance sheet, cost accounting as well as planning and forecasting processes are familiar to you - ideally from the insurance industry.
• Technical background: SQL, tabular data models and Power BI are familiar to you; experience with Microsoft Azure/Fabric, Databricks, DAX or Python is a plus.
• Clear and audience-appropriate communication - on equal footing with Finance and IT - in German and English.
