Farmer or Farm Assistant
on call, paid hourly (approx. 20%)

The organic farm of Stiftung Bühl is committed to helping young people with intellectual or learning disabilities achieve a good apprenticeship qualification, enabling them to lead as independent a life as possible, integrate professionally and socially, and participate in society. We are looking for a person who is independent, communicative and reliable.

Your tasks

• Work in all areas of the farm: suckler cows, sheep, horses, chickens, fodder cultivation, fruit growing, food processing and direct marketing
• Guidance, support and training of young people with learning disabilities
• Independent regular weekend duty (by arrangement)
• Cooperation with internal and external specialist agencies

Your qualifications

• Training as a farmer EFZ or an equivalent qualification
• Experience in training apprentices, ideally a qualification as a vocational trainer or willingness to complete this training
• Enjoyment of the profession and interest in working with young people with special needs
• Resilience, flexibility, appreciation, team orientation, assertiveness, enjoyment of improvising
• Very good German skills (spoken and written)
• Possession of a category B driving licence with trailer
