IKA Rosengasse is the joint elderly and care institution of the municipalities of Fehraltdorf, Russikon and Weisslingen. With 32 care places and 23 retirement apartments, it offers older people a home that combines self-determination, security and quality of life. Head of Nursing and Care / Member of the Executive Board (80 - 100%)

Your task

You lead the nursing department professionally, personnel-wise and organisationally. At the same time, you actively work in nursing for about 20% on average per year. This keeps you close to the residents and familiar with the daily life of the team. You

• lead and support the employees in the nursing department
• ensure safe and good nursing care
• support the training and development of employees and trainees
• plan proactively and use the available resources sensibly
• work closely with the executive management and all areas in the house
• maintain good communication with doctors, relatives and other partners
• contribute your ideas and help shape the future of the institution

You bring with you

• a recognised qualification as a certified nursing professional HF/FH
• ideally an SVEB qualification
• a valid professional practice permit (BAB) from the canton of Zurich or meet the requirements to obtain it
• profound medical expertise and confidence in dealing with complex care situations
• enjoyment in working with older people
• leadership experience or the potential and motivation to take on a leadership role
• clear, understandable and appreciative communication
• interest in people and a good sense for different needs
• further training in leadership or willingness to undertake such training

Do you come from a hospital or another medical environment? We also look forward to hearing from you. Experience in long-term care is welcome but not essential. For IKA Rosengasse, your attitude, expertise and understanding of leadership count.
