Your tasks

You support PLC programming and form an important link between electrical planning, programming and project execution. Your focus is on configuring, adapting and testing existing PLC programmes as well as on the internal commissioning of our machines. You do not necessarily have to be able to create complete PLC programmes from scratch.

• Configuring, adapting and testing existing PLC programmes
• Supporting the maintenance and further development of our control software
• Internal commissioning and functional testing of machines and systems
• Supporting technical project clarifications and customer-specific requirements
• Assisting in the creation and maintenance of documentation and technical records
• Occasional assignments at customers for commissioning, troubleshooting or technical support

Your profile

• Completed training as an automation technician, electrical engineer or comparable qualification
• Experience in PLC programming and automation
• Ability to understand, configure and adapt existing PLC programmes
• Knowledge of programming Siemens controllers in the TIA Portal
• Understanding of electrical circuit diagrams, controls and technical interfaces
• Willingness to undertake occasional assignments at customers in Switzerland, Germany and Austria
• German spoken and written, English skills advantageous
• Independent, structured and solution-oriented working style
• Enjoyment of collaboration with various departments
