About the job

The energy industry is changing due to the development of decentralised electricity generation, electromobility, and the connection of small and large battery storage systems to the power grid. These topics come together in the Network Economics team.

Network Economics Specialist (all)

Your tasks

  • You are responsible for the creation, coordination, and conclusion of grid connection contracts with major customers and other network operators
  • You ensure the further development of grid connection and concession contracts
  • You analyse complex issues related to cost bearing, cost allocation, and tariffing in the distribution network
  • As a contact person for customers, partners, and authorities, you combine professional expertise with clear and solution-oriented communication
  • You coordinate the purchase and sale of distribution networks and ensure their seamless integration into the AEW network together with internal departments
  • You actively contribute to the further development of network processes and products and bring your ideas into projects with customer interfaces
  • You actively engage with regulatory requirements, take them into account, and provide advice both internally and externally

Your profile

  • You have a completed degree (university/FH) in energy, electrical engineering, or business administration or a comparable qualification
  • You understand technical relationships in the power grid and can classify them in an economic and regulatory context
  • You possess a strong analytical understanding and are able to prepare complex matters in a target group-appropriate and comprehensible manner
  • You negotiate confidently with different stakeholders, represent interests convincingly, and achieve sustainable solutions
  • You are confident in handling data and IT systems and navigate digital processes with ease
  • A structured, independent working style and a high degree of initiative characterise you
  • Very good German language skills, both spoken and written, complete your profile
