Job Description
Within the Directorate General for the Environment (DGE), the Directorate of Industrial, Urban and Rural Environment (DIREV) is responsible for protecting the population and the environment against pollution, damage and nuisances caused by human activities.
As a specialised case manager in the team responsible for managing contaminated sites in the canton, your main mission is to support the project managers of the section in the administrative and financial management of their projects. You thus contribute to the general missions of the section by drafting, sending and filing letters concerning notifications of registration in the contaminated sites register and related decisions. You also assist them with monitoring cantonal and federal subsidies, as well as the monitoring and commitment of operating and investment budgets.

Responsibilities
Support the project managers of the section in the administrative and financial management of their projects.
Contribute to the general missions of the section.
Manage and update the database related to the contaminated sites register using the dedicated management tool.
Ensure exchanges and follow-up of the section's documents with the management, especially those intended for the department, the State Council and the Grand Council.
Contribute to efficient management of the division and its sections' secretariat services.
Qualifications
Federal VET Diploma (CFC) as a commercial employee and specific training and/or higher or technical school.
Additional technical training related to financial project management.
3 years of professional experience in administrative management.
Excellent command of French. Ease in writing and oral expression. Interest in technical fields. Adaptability, flexibility and ease of teamwork. Very good organisational and time management skills, spirit of mutual aid and collaboration. Rigour and discretion.
Good knowledge of the functioning of the Vaud administration, institutions and administrative procedures. Interest and knowledge of environmental protection. Proficiency with IT tools (MS Office and databases) and numbers.
