Orif is present in French-speaking Switzerland with 10 training sites and more than 560 employees. For our Renens site, we are looking for:
A Socioprofessional Master Chef in Cooking at 80%
Mission:
- Ensure socioprofessional supervision and training of young people in specialised training, actively participating in internal and external networks related to their support.
- Observe and assess the skills, resources and possibilities for professional integration of the young people supported.
- Write observation, evaluation and follow-up reports necessary for their training and professional rehabilitation path.
- Provide practical and technological teaching related to the professions of cooking and catering.
- Maintain and develop a network of partner companies, notably to promote internships, work experiences and professional integration of young people.
- Participate, with shared responsibility, in the management, organisation and smooth running of the kitchen workshop.
- Ensure the application and monitoring of HACCP standards, as well as compliance with hygiene, food safety and kitchen operation rules.
- Plan and ensure, with the young trainees, the production of meals for a cafeteria serving about 70 covers per day, integrating this activity into pedagogical and socioprofessional objectives.
- Plan, organise and carry out, with the young people, catering services that can accommodate up to 200 people.
- Ensure close collaboration with our partner restaurant, particularly from the perspective of practical training, skills development and professional placement of young people.
Profile and skills:
- Hold at least a Federal VET Diploma (CFC) as a cook or an equivalent qualification.
- Have several years of professional experience in cooking, ideally as a chef de partie or sous-chef.
- Training as a socioprofessional master (MSP), a federal certificate in the field or experience/knowledge of the social sector is an asset.
- Master HACCP standards and their application in the daily operation of a professional kitchen.
- Be comfortable with common office software tools.
- Have a good knowledge of the regional professional and economic network.
- Demonstrate great adaptability and real ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team.
- Be autonomous, organised, flexible and stress-resistant, especially during busy periods.
- Have a strong customer orientation while being attentive to the demands and realities of the professional market.
- Show a genuine interest in supporting young people and human relations, with the ability to listen, empathise and be kind, while maintaining a professional framework.
- Hold a driving licence.
