The Basel Pain Clinic is consistently developing its outpatient service offerings. In addition to our established interdisciplinary treatment spectrum, a walk-in clinic is currently being created to provide patients with uncomplicated access to internal acute care. For the development of this new area, we are looking for a committed individual who enjoys shaping, innovation, and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Job Description

• Independent conduct of a general internal medicine walk-in consultation for the clarification and treatment of acute medical complaints
• Participation in the establishment and continuous development of the walk-in clinic
• General practitioner care for patients with long-term connection to the Basel Pain Clinic
• Consultative internal medicine co-care of outpatient patients
• Close interdisciplinary collaboration with the specialist departments of the Basel Pain Clinic

Qualifications

• Specialist in General Internal Medicine (FMH or equivalent)
• Additional certification in Manual Medicine, Sports Medicine, Abdominal Sonography, Neural Therapy or Psychosomatics is an advantage but not a requirement
• Enjoyment of working in an interdisciplinary team
• Very good German language skills; knowledge of foreign languages is a plus
• Strong teamwork skills and a high quality awareness in patient care
