What to expect:
- Receiving, recording and classifying fault reports, enquiries and change requests
- Preliminary analysis and handling of simple faults via remote support
- Responding to enquiries and initiating workarounds in first-level support
- Forwarding complex cases to the responsible specialist departments
- Maintaining and evaluating fault statistics for quality and process optimisation
- Proactive communication to users about faults, maintenance and announcements
- Training and supporting users in handling IT systems
- Assigning access rights according to internal guidelines (in exceptional cases)
- Creating and maintaining documentation and solution descriptions
What you should bring:
- Completed vocational training as an IT specialist EFZ or comparable qualification
- Several years of experience in IT service desk with direct customer contact
- Structured, solution-oriented and analytical working style
- Confident handling of IT service management tools (ideally ServiceNow)
- Good knowledge of ITIL processes
- Fluent German skills in spoken and written form, additional language an advantage
