This is what you can achieve.

• You take on the technical and organisational leadership of the overhead line team and specifically develop your team. With your expertise and commitment, you ensure the reliable operation of our overhead line systems.
• In the overhead line area, you are responsible for the safe operation, availability and maintenance of the vbl overhead line network and plan, design and implement small to medium conversion and expansion projects.
• You plan the deployment and on-call schedules as well as the training and further education of your employees in a forward-looking and targeted manner.
• As a central contact person, you work closely with authorities, external partners, owners, planners and contractors and confidently represent the interests of VBL AG.
• You professionally manage approval and plan authorisation procedures and prepare well-founded decision-making bases for management and the board of directors.
• You further develop technical solutions and safety concepts, assume safety and switching responsibility for the overhead line systems, accompany external construction sites and ensure compliance with safety, quality and environmental standards.

This is what you bring with you.

• You have completed training as a network electrician, electrical installer or an equivalent qualification in the electrical field. Further training as a certified master network electrician HF, electrical engineer HF or a higher technical education complements your profile.
• Thanks to your several years of professional experience in the overhead line or electrical infrastructure sector, you are very familiar with the planning, design and implementation of technical projects.
• You have leadership experience and convince as an integrating personality with high social competence as well as pronounced communication and implementation skills.
• Through your structured, independent and responsible way of working, your entrepreneurial thinking and your reliable and safety-oriented personality, you master even complex situations confidently.
• With the willingness for occasional on-call, night and special deployments, you make an important contribution to the reliable operation of our line network. A category B driving licence is required. If you do not yet have category C, we will cover the costs for obtaining it at our own driving school.
