For our client, a nationwide food retailer in Switzerland, we are looking in Zurich (Hardbrücke) within the framework of a Try & Hire position with a prospect of permanent employment for a service-oriented and resilient personality as:

Order Processing Clerk (80-100%, m/f/d)

You know what good service means and have a feel for gastronomy? Turn satisfied customers into loyal regulars with competent advice and personal commitment.

Your interesting area of responsibility includes, among other things:

• Competent support and advice for customers from the gastronomy and hotel industry, especially by telephone
• Receiving and carefully recording orders by telephone and e-mail
• Monitoring orders and ensuring correct, complete and timely order processing
• Active selling of products, offers and services as well as targeted additional sales in telephone customer contact
• Maintaining and expanding long-term customer relationships as well as coordinating customer-specific requirements
• Solution-oriented handling of complaints and customer claims
• Administrative support of the field service as well as forwarding customer needs to the field service and management

You bring the following profile for this position:

• Completed commercial apprenticeship, business school or a comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience in a similar role, ideally in order processing, internal sales or customer service
• Very good communication skills in German; knowledge of French is an advantage
• Strong customer and service orientation as well as enjoyment of sales and a feel for additional sales
• Interest in food and connection to gastronomy; experience in the food or gastronomy sector is particularly welcome
• A structured, precise way of working and willingness to familiarise yourself with demanding operational processes
• Resilience and a confident, friendly manner: Even with a high workload or occasionally direct tone from customers, you remain calm and professional
• Willingness to work varying hours as well as evening, weekend and on-call duties within an eight-person team
