The VDL Group is an international, highly successful family business headquartered in Eindhoven (NL) with over 100 subsidiaries in 16 countries. The branch in Switzerland, with around 180 employees, is located in Trübbach SG. We operate in the system integration of high-precision components, mechatronic systems, and complete OEM modules in the high-tech industry. Our specialities include 5-axis milling up to 4 metres component size, turning, vacuum brazing, production of vacuum vessels including leak testing, and the assembly and commissioning of systems & assemblies also in cleanroom environments (ISO 6) as well as wet and dry cleaning (RGA).

 

Your exciting and varied area of responsibility:

  • Responsibility for the successful implementation of projects as well as the continuous optimisation of workflows, processes, and costs
  • Coordination of project goals, scope, and organisation with clients and specialist departments
  • Preparation of all necessary documents and ensuring complete project documentation
  • Planning, coordination, and control of projects including convening and conducting project meetings
  • Ensuring project controlling (costs, deadlines, technology) in close cooperation with the QLTC team
  • Supporting the sales department / Key Account Managers in preparing project offers and customer documentation
  • Active communication with internal and external customers

 

Your convincing profile:

  • Completed vocational training in the metalworking sector as well as relevant further education or degree (FH)
  • Several years of experience in project management in the metalworking industry, including process optimisation and sound knowledge of manufacturing technology (machining, joining technology)
  • Experience with project management tools, FMEA methods, as well as good MS Office and SAP skills
  • Lean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or higher) and basic knowledge of vacuum technology are advantageous
  • Independent, strategic thinker with resilience and very good German and good English skills, both written and spoken
  • Willingness to travel up to approx. 20%
