Team Leader Dispatch / Deputy Head of Transport 100%

Your tasks

• In this role, you are responsible for route planning for the Dietikon location, taking into account optimal and economical vehicle utilisation using modern dispatch software.
• You lead the dispatch team (4 dispatchers) and take on the operational support and management of our drivers and fitters.
• You also coordinate collaboration with our partners (contract drivers and subcontractors).
• You actively participate in operational dispatch business and promote continuous process optimisation in close cooperation with internal departments and customers. You ensure compliance with all qualitative, contractual, and legal requirements.
• Briefing and debriefing drivers as well as monitoring and controlling the vehicle fleet are naturally part of your daily work.

Our requirements

• You have completed a vocational training or a comparable qualification and have several years of professional experience in dispatch, bringing initial leadership experience.
• You are an open, customer- and solution-oriented leader with healthy assertiveness and possess good geographical knowledge of the Zurich area.
• You have very good command of the German language, both spoken and written. Good English skills are an advantage.
• You convince through a proactive, structured, and communicative working style as well as very good IT skills.
