Technical Application Manager SAP PSCD 80 - 100%
The Financial Administration manages the finances of the Canton of Zurich and provides an overall view. It prepares the budget with financial plan and the accounts of the canton on behalf of the government council. It prepares financial decisions of the government council, ensures an efficient accounting system and provides corresponding services for the entire administration.
The Department of Cantonal Accounting sets the guidelines for a canton-wide uniform accounting based on IPSAS, prepares the consolidated accounts as well as the financial statistics of the canton. The specialist area "Application Responsibility Financial Systems" ensures an efficient accounting system in the cantonal SAP environment.
To assume the technical application responsibility (Business Owner) of the cantonal SAP module PSCD, we are looking for a committed and service-oriented personality who shapes processes and securely connects different stakeholders.
Your tasks:
- Technical application responsibility (Business Owner) for SAP PSCD and its continuous further development
- Definition of the use of SAP PSCD in the canton-wide business processes
- Support and optimisation of canton-wide business processes in the area of contract current accounts as well as development of guidelines in the area of authorisations
- Organisation and leadership of a structured exchange with users, including a pending list and prioritisation of upgrades, changes and further developments as well as ensuring know-how transfer within the cantonal administration
- Situational representation of concerns in the Change Advisory Board
- Organisation and execution of tests for new developments
- Leadership or participation in interdisciplinary project teams related to SAP PSCD and other projects of the Cantonal Accounting
- Leadership of a cantonal specialist group
- Participation in the year-end closing of the Canton of Zurich and the preparation of the consolidated accounts
Your profile:
- Higher education in business informatics or business administration, as well as several years of relevant professional experience in these areas
- Solid know-how in accounting as well as in-depth expertise with SAP PSCD
- Interest in public finances and in the further development of processes and applications
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills as well as enjoyment in collaborating with different stakeholders
- Open to changes and new substantive challenges
- Knowledge of the HERMES project methodology is an advantage
