The REHAB Basel, Clinic for Neurorehabilitation and Paraplegiology, treats and rehabilitates patients with brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, and related conditions following accidents or illnesses.
Our primary goal is to achieve the greatest possible independence and an optimal quality of life together with the people entrusted to us. We successfully provide treatment in both initial and follow-up rehabilitation.
The clinic has 110 beds and around 660 employees who implement the vision and values of REHAB Basel in their daily work. You will work in a unique building in the attractive tri-border area of Switzerland, Germany, and France.

We are looking for a committed and innovative Ward Manager 80%-100% for the ward for severely behaviourally abnormal Patients (SAP) from 01.01.2027 or by arrangement.
Your area of responsibility:
We treat patients on the SAP ward
- who require adapted care around the clock
- with complex, severe functional disorders
- with challenging behaviour involving self-harm and harm to others
- who are transitioning from early rehabilitation to further rehabilitation

As Ward Manager, you are responsible for
- organising efficient work allocation and monitoring processes
- supporting and promoting staff and ensuring the quality of patient care
- overseeing the progress of patients’ rehabilitation
- organising and supervising the conduct of structured case discussions
- participating in the nursing management team
Your profile
- Several years of proven nursing experience as a qualified nurse with challenging complex care situations
- Leadership experience and leadership training, or the motivation to undertake such training
- Very high social competence, willingness to reflect, self-competence, resilience
- Organisational skills, communication ability, and flexibility
- Interest and enjoyment in optimally combining the expertise of different professional groups
