Your tasks

• You will take on the professional and personnel management of the Regional Civil Registry Office of the City of Lucerne with the affiliated municipalities of Malters, Meggen, Greppen, Vitznau, Weggis and Schwarzenberg.
• You will certify all civil status events and conduct weddings.
• You will position the Civil Registry Office as a competent and reliable point of contact for the public and our partners.
• You will continuously develop organisation, processes and services and specifically promote employees in their development.
• As a member of the management of the Population Services Department, you will commit to a modern, effective and efficient service company.

Your profile

• You have a proven track record as a civil registry officer and several years of leadership experience – ideally in public administration and at management level.
• In addition to the federal professional certificate as a civil registry officer, you have specifically and continuously developed your leadership skills.
• You lead clearly and decisively, provide orientation, initiate change and promote a respectful and participative culture.
• You maintain dialogue with various stakeholders and actively contribute to joint solutions.
• You act calmly even in demanding situations, prioritise confidently and keep an overview.
• You have good foreign language skills.

The Population Services Department integrates resident services, the Regional Civil Registry Office, elections and voting, and the citizenship division. With our 35 employees, we embody the "Service public".
