A good Product Owner does not simply manage a backlog. They understand why something is developed, what benefits it brings, and how it creates a better service.
That is exactly what this role is about: You connect customer needs, business goals, and technical possibilities and develop infrastructure and workplace services with a clear view of their entire lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
Product Ownership: Responsibility for services from vision to end of lifecycle
Roadmap: Strategic development of products and services
Backlog: Evaluate, prioritise requirements and assess their concrete customer benefit
Service Quality: Continuously monitor availability, performance and SLA/OLA
Transformation: Support new technologies, migrations and service renewals
Partner Management: Manage external service providers and ensure quality
Governance: Integrate security, data protection and compliance into service development
Stakeholder Management: Bring together customers, departments and technical teams
Qualifications:
Higher education or degree in computer science, business informatics or comparable
Several years of experience in ICT infrastructure, workplace or cloud services
Experience as a Product Owner, Service Manager or ICT project manager
Understanding of agile working methods and modern service management
Strong customer understanding and consistent focus on actual added value
Ability to classify requirements within an overarching product context
Strong communication skills and talent as a mediator between business and technology
Independent, goal-oriented working style
Very good German language skills
