Who are we?

The Swiss Federal Institute for Vocational Education and Training EHB is the Swiss centre of expertise for vocational education and training. We train and further educate those responsible for vocational education, conduct research in vocational education, develop professions, and support international vocational education cooperation. Our locations are in Zollikofen near Bern (headquarters), Lausanne, and Lugano, with satellite offices in Olten and Zurich.

Would you like to advise leaders and support employees throughout the entire employee lifecycle? For our HR team in Zollikofen, we are looking for a committed and solution-oriented HR manager from 1 December 2026 in the role of

HR Business Partner 80 - 100%

Your area of responsibility

• You are the first point of contact for leaders and employees on all HR matters. You advise, support, and coach from personnel planning and recruitment to exit.
• You design and implement personnel development measures, support leaders in employee discussions, development planning, and succession arrangements, and promote a lively feedback and learning culture.
• You participate in HR and organisational projects or lead them independently, for example in changes and transformations, process optimisations, or the further development of HR tools.
• You support leaders in challenging situations such as conflicts, performance issues, or reorganisations, clearly and solution-orientedly representing even uncomfortable positions.
• You take on additional tasks within the HR team and contribute with your initiative to further strengthen HR as a reliable partner.
• You act as the deputy for your colleague responsible for the French- and Italian-speaking regions of Switzerland.

Your profile

• You hold a federal specialist certificate as an HR specialist or an equivalent qualification. Further training in change management, transformation, organisational development, or project management is an advantage.
• You bring more than five years of professional experience in a comparable role. Experience in the education sector or public service is highly welcome.
• You enjoy new challenges, are hands-on, and take responsibility, even beyond your core area.
• You are courageous and show conviction: you address issues, persist despite resistance, and remain calm under pressure.
• At the same time, you approach people with empathy and quickly build trust, both with employees and leaders.
• You work independently, proactively, and efficiently and appreciate constructive, solution-oriented collaboration within the team and with other internal and external contacts.
• Your mother tongue is German, and you have excellent knowledge of French and/or Italian.
