The Personnel Office is the cross-sectional office responsible for all personnel matters of the cantonal administration. The Legal Services Department is the contact point for all personnel law questions within the cantonal administration. For the Legal Services Department, we are looking for a Lawyer, 80% at the Solothurn location, starting immediately or by arrangement.

Your responsibilities

  • In this position, you advise and support the Personnel Office as well as managers of the individual departments on all labour and personnel law issues.
  • As an internal sparring partner, you comprehensively accompany personnel law processes and measures from hiring to termination.
  • You take on the legal review and handling of diverse topics in the field of personnel law and contribute to legislative work.
  • You represent the Personnel Office in internal administrative procedures, before authorities, social partners, and in labour court proceedings.

Your profile

  • You have a university degree in law (lic.iur. or MLaw) and several years of professional experience in a legal environment, ideally in public personnel and administrative law.
  • For demanding issues, you can draw on your broad expertise and sound knowledge in personnel/labour law.
  • An independent and precise working style, complemented by high social competence, characterises you and counts among your strengths.
  • You see yourself as an internal service provider with a strong commitment to performance and work solution- and team-oriented. Negotiation skills as well as pronounced communication and advisory competence in German complete your profile.
