Your Tasks

In this key position, you are the main contact person for building permits in the Department of Construction and Planning:

• Building Permit Management: You are responsible for the legally compliant handling of all procedures according to Aargau cantonal law – from initial consultation to decision.
• Agile Transformation: You promote agile working methods and are ready to work with new tools (such as Jira) to optimise project tracking and transparency within the administration.
• Strategic Advice: You support the municipal council and the building commission as a technical authority in construction and planning law matters.
• Interface Management: Professional collaboration with cantonal authorities, planning offices, and the local population.
• Building and Planning Commission: Administrative leadership of the technical advisory group that provides building law recommendations to the municipal council.

Your Profile:

• Qualification: You hold the DAS Public Administration diploma (specialist competence as a building administrator) or a comparable qualification recognised in the canton of Aargau.
• Independent: Strong independence in work organisation as well as the ability to solve challenges on your own initiative.
• IT Affinity: Confident handling of CMI and project management software as well as the ability to exemplify digital processes.
• Legal Certainty: Profound knowledge of construction and planning law (canton of Aargau) and a confident presence in the political environment.
• Personality: You are communicative, confident in negotiations, and maintain an overview even in complex situations.
