To complement our team at the KZU Dietlikon centre, we are looking for a social worker at 60% to start immediately or by arrangement.
Your Responsibilities
- Case management and counselling of asylum seekers and refugees in the area of economic and personal assistance
- Aligning economic social assistance and asylum care according to SKOS guidelines and cantonal requirements
- Coordinating, clarifying and referring to specialised agencies for issues beyond own responsibility
- Developing and implementing measures for professional and social integration
- Complete and accurate file management in the case management tool
- First point of contact to support clients with initial integration (language, housing search, culture, work etc.)
Your Profile
- Completed degree in Social Work FH or equivalent qualification
- Preferably relevant professional experience, ideally in social assistance, asylum care or integration
- Cooperation and teamwork skills
- Empathy and sensitivity in dealing with people from diverse backgrounds
- Independent working style, initiative
- Advisory and high social competence, confident appearance and assertiveness
- Basic and user knowledge of MS Office applications
- Impeccable reputation (no entries in debt enforcement and criminal records)
- German | spoken: C1 | written: C1
- English | spoken: B2 | written: B2
- Additional asylum-relevant language (advantageous) | spoken: B2 | written: B2
