To complement our team at the KZU Dietlikon centre, we are looking for a social worker at 60% to start immediately or by arrangement.

Your Responsibilities

• Case management and counselling of asylum seekers and refugees in the area of economic and personal assistance
• Aligning economic social assistance and asylum care according to SKOS guidelines and cantonal requirements
• Coordinating, clarifying and referring to specialised agencies for issues beyond own responsibility
• Developing and implementing measures for professional and social integration
• Complete and accurate file management in the case management tool
• First point of contact to support clients with initial integration (language, housing search, culture, work etc.)

Your Profile

• Completed degree in Social Work FH or equivalent qualification
• Preferably relevant professional experience, ideally in social assistance, asylum care or integration
• Cooperation and teamwork skills
• Empathy and sensitivity in dealing with people from diverse backgrounds
• Independent working style, initiative
• Advisory and high social competence, confident appearance and assertiveness
• Basic and user knowledge of MS Office applications
• Impeccable reputation (no entries in debt enforcement and criminal records)
• German | spoken: C1 | written: C1
• English | spoken: B2 | written: B2
• Additional asylum-relevant language (advantageous) | spoken: B2 | written: B2
