Job Description
The stated salary range (total compensation) serves as a guideline and is based on the respective local market. The actual salary depends on the qualifications, skills and professional experience of the selected person and will be determined during the selection process: CHF 70,000 - CHF 95,000.
The position includes independent management and strategic development of a defined sales territory. A central focus is on targeted expansion of the market share of the entrusted brand in the A, B and C segments (Top-Tier and High Tier), consistently considering net sales and profitability targets.
This is a permanent full-time position (100%) in the Eastern Switzerland region.
What you will do:
- Sale of hair cosmetic products from the brands Goldwell and KMS to hair salons in the assigned sales territory
- Customer advice and support in the assigned sales territory
- Presentation of our products, new releases and salon concepts in the hair salon
- Independent organisation and creation of tour planning and visit preparation (up to 12 customer visits daily)
- Order taking from customers as well as additional sales (promotions, service campaigns, seminars, event tickets)
- On-site customer service; answering technical questions, handling returns, exchanges etc.
- Continuous acquisition of new customers in the customer segments A/B/C (i.e. "Top Tier / High Tier")
- Planning, executing and following up on activities/promotions as well as conducting regular success checks of agreed customer activities
- Achieving the set targets per brand or target sales per sales territory
- Supporting customers in sales promotion and further development in the salon
- Monitoring customer payments and customer sales volume
- Close cooperation with Education and the Marketing team regarding customer support in the salon
- Creation of annual plans (education, marketing measures, interim review meetings), implementation and control of the corresponding activities
- Conducting own training sessions in the salon (sales training, Kerasilk training etc.)
- Close cooperation with other sales colleagues in the area
- Adherence to the assigned budget for individual customer-specific implementations
- Regular participation in strategic projects & meetings
Your profile
- Completed commercial apprenticeship or comparable education
- Further training as a federally certified sales specialist / marketing specialist or similar further education
- Min. 3-5 years professional experience in field sales, preferably in the cosmetics industry or FMCG
- Independent working style
- Driver's licence and own vehicle
- Team player with initiative
- Confident and assured demeanour
- Strong communication skills and negotiation ability
- Strong organisational skills
- High service and customer orientation
- Numerical understanding & analytical skills
