At our Blind and Disabled Centre Bern – the "B" – 360 people work, about half of them at an adapted workplace. Employee Digital Transformation (80-100%, fixed-term until August 2027)

The "B" is always on the move – and you create the ICT structures so that we reach the next level of digitalisation!

We have adopted an ambitious strategy for digital transformation and want to gradually take our ICT to the next level by 2030: more professional, networked and effective. For this, we are looking for a personality who tackles things with a lot of energy, a strong desire to shape and clarity, and who will gradually modernise our ICT together with a small team.

The position is fixed-term until the end of August 2027, with a possible option for extension.

These core tasks await you:

• you create a complete and up-to-date documentation of user and permission administration as well as our workplace infrastructure
• you support the professionalisation and standardisation of our ICT processes by creating conceptual and strategic foundations and implementing them into practical processes
• you lead and work in various projects for the introduction and further development of various applications, especially in the ERP (Abacus) area
• you conduct business analysis and are in regular dialogue with users in the line
• you work on various infrastructure and workplace projects as well as the renewal of workplace infrastructure
• you occasionally deputise for the ICT Help Desk and ensure the technical administration and operation of our applications when needed

You are, by personality:

• an empathetic team player who works with people on an equal footing
• strong in implementation with a good sense of what is realistic
• well-founded and nuanced in analysis
• focused on the needs of users
• strong in communication and responsible
• someone who enjoys building up and further developing

Professionally you bring:

• Several years of experience with a strong track record in ICT or digital transformation
• Solid technical skills and expertise in user and permission administration as well as workplace management
• Further training in and knowledge of ITIL and project management; knowledge of Abacus/ERP is an advantage
