The Office for Labour (AFA) strengthens the economic and employment location Zurich – with around 800 employees at over 20 locations.
In the Unemployment Insurance Department (ALV / KAST), we ensure that the Federal Act on Compulsory Unemployment Insurance and Insolvency Compensation is implemented uniformly and fairly in the canton of Zurich.
Your tasks:
- You independently handle diverse insurance cases – from sanctions to decisions to waiver requests
- You draft appealable decisions that are legally and linguistically convincing
- You obtain relevant documents and conduct interviews with insured persons
- You maintain close contact with insured persons, employers, unemployment funds, RAV as well as internal and external partners
Your profile
- A completed commercial basic education or equivalent qualification
- At least three years of experience in a qualified administrative role, ideally in the (social) insurance sector
- Further training in social insurance is a plus
- Very good MS Office skills and confident communication in German – both written and spoken
- Enjoyment in dealing with different stakeholders
- Analytical thinking, structured working method and a good sense of priorities
