The Motor Vehicle Control is responsible for the approval of persons, road vehicles, and ships for traffic as well as for checking the operational safety of road vehicles and ships in traffic or newly to be approved within the framework of technical inspections. It also conducts theoretical and practical driving tests, monitors the driving aptitude of road users, among other things by assigning them to traffic medical checks, and enforces the federal administrative measures law (e.g. warnings, driving licence withdrawals, driving bans, or traffic education). For the Driver Licensing Department, we are looking for an Administrative Measures Officer, 80-100% at the Bellach location from 01.01.2027 or by arrangement.
Your responsibilities
- You independently conduct administrative procedures (e.g. withdrawal of the driving licence, ordering warnings and driving aptitude assessments) against culpable drivers.
- The application of laws, regulations, and case law in the field of road traffic law is part of your daily tasks.
- You draft procedural letters (e.g. legal hearing) and prepare reasoned decisions.
- In your role, you correspond with the affected drivers, legal representatives, expert bodies, road traffic offices, and other authorities.
Your profile
- You have completed a commercial apprenticeship or an equivalent qualification.
- Ideally, you bring several years of professional experience in demanding administrative work, preferably in the legal environment of public administration.
- As a service-oriented, resilient, and flexible personality, you are characterised by an independent and reliable working style and enjoy contact with people.
- Very good written and oral expression as well as good IT user skills complete your profile.
