Strategic Buyer Food 80-100% (m/f/d)
Our ROCKEN partner is a creative and innovative gastronomy and lifestyle company. For over 30 years, the company has been developing creative business concepts. The corporate group now includes 9 different brands and over 30 gastronomy establishments.
Responsibilities:
You continuously review the supplier base and open up new sources of supply if necessary.
You assess price developments, procurement volumes and market conditions as a basis for purchasing decisions.
For defined product groups, you conduct price and contract negotiations with suppliers.
You prepare offers and tender results for well-founded comparisons and award decisions.
In collaboration with internal specialist departments, you evaluate product specifications and possible substitute items.
You keep assortment overviews and article master data up to date and check data quality.
Through evaluations, you monitor cost developments, invoice items and compliance with purchasing agreements.
In case of supplier problems, you coordinate clarifications and handle quality deviations as well as procurement risks.
Qualifications:
Commercial qualification with purchasing-specific further training or university degree in business administration or supply chain management.
Solid practical experience in strategic procurement, ideally in a goods-intensive environment.
Experience with supplier negotiations, offer evaluations and commercial decision-making bases.
Confident handling of numbers as well as knowledge in analysing purchasing and market data.
Good user knowledge of ERP solutions and Excel.
Independent, careful working style with a focus on cost and process quality.
Convincing appearance and clear communication in contact with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
Very good German skills in spoken and written form; English skills are a plus.
