The contribution you can make
- Support the Head of Cyber Command and the Scientific Associate for Political Affairs in day-to-day business (controlling, statements, files and speaking notes, preparation of operational basics and guidelines)
- Prepare and follow up on political enquiries, actively participate in interpellations, motions and office consultations, as well as develop and visually prepare presentations
- Keep up to date with current thematic developments, conduct research and contribute to the creation of products
- Independently manage a variety of administrative tasks (including correspondence, organising meetings and events, and writing minutes)
- Ensure representation of the Scientific Associate for Political Affairs during their absence
- Assist in the deployment and coordination of the Cyber Command leadership service

- Completed Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in International Relations or Political Science at a university of applied sciences or university
- Subject and methodological competence in the political and scientific environment
- Interest in commercial tasks, very good IT skills (Microsoft Office)
- Motivated, team-oriented, communicative and reliable personality
- Independent working style, flexibility and very good organisational skills
- Enjoy learning and interacting with people as well as good knowledge of a second official language
In a nutshell
As a university intern in the field of political affairs, you support the Scientific Associate for Political Affairs and the Head of Cyber Command in handling political affairs, preparing written products and presentations, and researching relevant topics.
You will gain in-depth insights into current topics at Cyber Command, various areas and diverse projects. You will learn to compile information and prepare it appropriately for the target audience, coming into contact with people from different departments as well as other actors in the federal administration. An open, efficient and team-oriented approach is particularly important.

Additional information
The degree must not be older than 18 months at the start of employment. The internship with an employment level of 80-100% begins by arrangement and lasts twelve months.
