We are not looking for someone who just processes tickets. We are looking for a technician with about 5 years of experience who is eager to take responsibility and not only keep our systems running but actively develop them further.

Your playing field – This is what your daily work with us looks like: You can expect a varied daily routine with plenty of scope for creativity. • From hardware to container: Together with the team, you manage a modern landscape of around 500 servers. Sounds like a lot? It is – but thanks to our consistent focus on standardisation and smart management, this environment can be controlled very efficiently. Your work ranges from basic infrastructure to complex configurations.
• Top-level stability: Thanks to our high internal expertise and clean structure, our systems run reliably. Should a fault occur despite this complexity, you keep a cool head, analyse the problem precisely, and quickly develop a sustainable solution.

• Shared on-call duty: We share the on-call duty fairly among us. Since we have done our homework on system stability, fortunately, there are very few actual deployments outside regular hours.

The foundation you bring with you:

• Basics: A completed apprenticeship as an IT specialist EFZ (system technology), supplemented by further education in the IT field (HF, FH, NDS). You also bring at least 5 years of solid professional experience.
• Your core know-how: You are very proficient in Linux (RHEL/Rocky Linux) and Kubernetes (with Rancher). You are absolutely confident in these areas. You also have very good knowledge of VMware vSphere and Windows.
• Your tech toolbox: You have already gained initial, solid practical experience with Proxmox VE and modern Enterprise Storage solutions. So you are not starting from scratch here but still have room to deepen your knowledge with us.
• The plus (not mandatory): Initial experience with cloud technologies or Cisco networks.
• Personality & thirst for knowledge: You work very independently and like to think outside the box. Our IT landscape is large and, besides the core technologies, offers many other exciting topics. We do not expect you to know everything already – but we do expect you to be eager to delve into new things and enjoy working in a team.
• Languages: You communicate fluently and confidently in German. For close interaction with our local customers, it is essential that you understand Swiss German effortlessly. At the same time, you regularly work with our international teams – for these technical discussions, you have very good English skills, both spoken and written.
