About the job

In our metal hall, you will ensure together with your team that the goods receipt runs smoothly. You take responsibility for four employees, actively participate in day-to-day operations, and ensure an efficient and safe operational process with your organisational talent and expertise.

Team Leader Metal Hall (m/f/d)

Your tasks:

• Technical and personnel leadership of a team of four employees as well as active participation in the operational daily business of the metal hall
• Planning and coordination of daily workflows including personnel deployment, holiday and absence planning
• Ensuring an efficient goods receipt through correct material acceptance, valuation, sorting, inventory management and quality control
• Promotion and further development of employees as well as ensuring compliance with quality, safety and environmental regulations
• Close cooperation with purchasing, sales, production and logistics as well as continuous optimisation of processes and workflows

Your profile:

• Completed technical, craft or comparable basic training with several years of professional experience, ideally in the recycling, metal or waste disposal industry
• Leadership experience or the motivation to take the next step into a leadership role
• Organisational skills, structured working method as well as strong communication and assertiveness skills
• Good PC user skills as well as a valid SUVA-recognised forklift licence
• Good German language skills in spoken and written form as well as a responsible, resilient and flexible personality
