Workplace Engineer (100%) – Modern IT Infrastructure
Job description:
- Support of Dell desktops, laptops, and Wyse Thin Clients
- Endpoint management with ManageEngine Endpoint Central
- Patching, software distribution, and configuration management
- Support of Windows 11, Windows Server 2022, and Active Directory
- Support of the VMware Horizon VDI environment
- Working with Trend Micro, Veeam, and Microsoft App Volumes
- Support of network services such as InfoBlox / DDI

Our client is a leading Swiss company with a large, business-critical IT environment and a strong focus on secure and reliable workplace technologies.
Requirements:
- Completed technical training in the field of computer science or equivalent qualification; a university degree is not required
- At least 3 years of professional experience in workplace engineering, end-user computing, or a comparable role
- Good knowledge of Windows 11, Windows Server, and Active Directory
- Experience with endpoint management solutions such as ManageEngine Endpoint Central or comparable tools
- Experience with VMware Horizon or VDI environments
- Experience with Dell hardware and thin clients is an advantage
- Knowledge of Trend Micro, Veeam, App Volumes, or InfoBlox is an advantage
- Very good German language skills
