Salary: CHF 80'000 - 90'000Location: Zurich
Contract: 12-month fixed-term contract with the opportunity to become permanent
A growing international SaaS company is looking for an HR Specialist to join its Zurich office. This is a hands-on generalist role, ideal for someone who enjoys being the go-to HR contact for employees while taking ownership of Swiss payroll administration and HR operations.
Working closely with the VP People & Culture, you will support a diverse team of around 20-30 employees across functions including Sales, Digital Marketing and Research.

Your responsibilities
- Coordinate and prepare the monthly Swiss payroll process together with the external payroll provider.
- Act as the first point of contact for payroll-related queries from employees and managers.
- Prepare employment contracts, contract amendments and HR documentation.
- Advise managers and employees on Swiss labour law and HR policies.
- Support employee relations, including disciplinary and other sensitive HR matters.
- Manage the employee lifecycle from onboarding through to offboarding.
- Maintain accurate HR records and ensure compliance with Swiss employment legislation.
- Partner with the wider People & Culture team on HR initiatives and day-to-day HR operations.
Your profile
- Previous experience in a broad HR Generalist or HR Specialist role in Switzerland.
- Strong hands-on experience coordinating Swiss payroll with an external payroll provider.
- Sound knowledge of Swiss employment law.
- Comfortable handling employee relations issues and difficult conversations.
- A proactive, approachable and people-focused personality with excellent communication skills.
- Fluent in (Swiss) German and English.
- Available to start immediately or on very short notice.
