Responsibilities:
- Provide remote (worldwide)
and on-site technical support to users and students operating in a Windows
and Mac environment
support according to the Best Practices in place and the Service
Management framework
support needs and resolution in the Service Desk ticketing system
- Identify, escalate and follow-up
incidents / requests
upgrade PC hardware and software
- Support audio and video equipment in
classrooms and conference rooms / remote teaching
configure new hardware through Intune
equipment / consumable spares and maintain hardware inventory
inventory system up to date
manage miscellaneous hardware drivers and equipment
repairs with suppliers and keep students/employees informed
maintain knowledge base documentation
basic network problems
patches before the production rollout
- Deliver specific training to staff and students
(induction)
Profile and experiences:
- IT Technician apprenticeship / CFC or equivalent
- ITIL knowledge is a plus
- Sense of ownership, accountability, and
prioritization
- Flexibility skills (time, priorities)
- Complete availability during specific periods of
the school schedule (check-in, bank holidays)
- Excellent judgment, attention to
details, customer oriented
- Good English and French knowledge
(in written and verbal)
