• Operation of the IT hotline: Receiving, forwarding and resolving internal customer inquiries
• Setting up and delivering hardware (desktops, laptops, peripherals) 
• Software distribution using Microsoft SCCM 
• Administration in Active Directory (PC, users and authorizations) 
• Processing mutations (entries, exits, etc.) 
• Conducting IT trainings 
• First level support for Avaya telephone system (third party contract existing) 
• Management of IT inventory (hardware) 
• Managing licenses 
• Taking care of the video and audio system in the meeting rooms

• Computer science education or equivalent and experience in an IT support environment
• Sound knowledge of Microsoft client operating systems 
• Excellent hardware knowledge 
• Service-oriented and communicative personality with pleasure in customer contact 
• Very good knowledge of German 
• Good knowledge of English 
• Knowledge of a validated (GxP) laboratory environment is an advantage
