The municipality of Gossau ZH in the Zurich Oberland has over 10,500 inhabitants. In our service-oriented municipal administration, around 130 employees work in six departments. The property department includes the Tannenberg outdoor pool. This offers several swimming lanes, a paddling pool, a pool for non-swimmers with a slide, a diving pool, a playground, as well as catering in the pool bistro. Employee Lifeguard (50% - 80%)

Your area of responsibility:

• Ensuring a safe, orderly, customer-friendly, and environmentally appropriate bathing operation
• Lifeguard duties during public swimming operations
• Ensuring first aid provision and site safety
• Implementation of house and bathing regulations
• Conducting inspection rounds of the water treatment technology
• Support in cashier service and in the pool bistro

Your profile:

• Swiss lifeguard certificate (BiP) or SLRG PRO Pool certificate
• CPR and AED training
• Willingness and flexibility for irregular working hours (weekend shifts)
• Dynamic, reliable, and team-oriented working style as well as a service-oriented attitude
• Independence and sense of responsibility
• Good manners and communication skills
