Department of Economy, Social Affairs and Environment, LIV Living in Diversity
immediate start, limited to 1 year with option for extension
Your Tasks
Supporting people: At the Belforterstrasse residential home, you accompany adults with cognitive and physical impairments and increased care needs. Many live with chronic, progressive illnesses and exhibit challenging behaviours.
Shaping everyday life: You take on tasks such as basic care, household management, and organising the spatially integrated day structure. Additionally, you are responsible for administrative duties, including maintaining the digital client records.
Developing perspectives: As a valuable member of an interdisciplinary team, you advocate for the individual needs of our clients. You specifically promote their abilities, set development goals, and participate in the annual needs assessment.
Your Profile
Experience: You are skilled in working with people with disabilities, ideally also with challenging behaviour. Shift work and working on weekends and public holidays are part of your responsible professional approach.
Personality: You approach clients with empathy, openness, and respect. Even in demanding care situations or emergencies, you remain calm, act confidently, and convey security.
Education: You have completed training as a Care Specialist EFZ or hold an equivalent qualification.
Language: You have a good command of the German language and communicate clearly, empathetically, and appropriately for the target group.
