- For our client, an internationally active industrial company in the greater Zurich area, we are looking for an experienced individual as HR Manager (m/f/d). In this versatile position, you will take overall responsibility for the local HR function of a production site and act as a strategic as well as operational sparring partner for managers and employees.
Job description
- Responsibility for operational and strategic personnel work at the site (approx. 140 employees)
- Advising and supporting managers on all HR-relevant topics
- Responsibility for the entire recruitment process including onboarding and support of employees throughout the entire employee lifecycle
- Contact person for labour law issues as well as employee relations topics
- Support and accompaniment of performance and talent management processes
- Ensuring correct HR administration as well as support with payroll matters
- Preparation of HR reporting and key figures as well as participation in internal and external audits
- Responsibility for compliance with labour law requirements and internal guidelines
- Leading and participating in local and international HR projects
- Optimising and further developing HR processes and systems
- Promoting a positive corporate culture and high employee engagement
Profile
- Solid professional experience in a generalist HR function, ideally as HR Manager or Senior HR Business Partner
- Comprehensive knowledge of Swiss labour law
- Experience in recruiting, personnel development, employee relations and payroll
- Experience in an industrial, manufacturing or technical environment is an advantage
- Confident handling of HR key figures, reporting and HR processes
- Experience in participating or leading HR projects
- Structured and independent working style
- Very good communication and consulting skills
- High social competence and empathy
- Entrepreneurial thinking and hands-on mentality
- Very good German and English skills
