About the job

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Incoming goods and quality control of electronic components, assemblies, bare (PCB) and assembled printed circuit boards (PCBA)
  • Visual inspection and processing checks based on technical drawings, specifications and test instructions
  • Detailed inspection for damage, soldering quality, correct assembly, markings and completeness
  • Execution of dimensional, visual and documentation inspections strictly according to test plans and quality requirements
  • Inspection of CoC (Certificate of Conformity), test protocols, measurement reports, material certificates, conformity evidence as well as technical manufacturer and supplier documentation
  • Ensuring completeness and accuracy of all accompanying documents according to customer requirements and specifications
  • Creation, processing and tracking of error reports for material, document or supplier deviations
  • Physical blocking and documentation of defective materials as well as active support in root cause analyses and supplier complaints
  • Close, cross-departmental collaboration with purchasing, development, production, logistics and quality assurance departments
  • Participation in test plans, test instructions, test strategies as well as support with initial samples, re-qualifications and technical approvals

WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING

  • Technical training as an electronics technician, electronics assembler EFZ or comparable
  • Experience in incoming goods inspection, quality assurance or electronics manufacturing is an advantage
  • Knowledge in PCB/PCBA inspection and ideally IPC standards (e.g. IPC-A-610, IPC-J-STD-001)
  • Confident in reading technical drawings, parts lists, specifications and quality documentation
  • Experience in SAP environment (preferably error reports) as well as good MS Office skills
  • Very good German skills; English skills are an advantage
  • High quality awareness, strong attention to detail as well as structured, careful and independent working
  • Strong technical understanding of electronics combined with analytical thinking and solution-oriented approach
  • Assertiveness regarding quality requirements, pronounced team spirit and enjoyment of cross-departmental collaboration
  • Ideally knowledge of IPC standards (e.g. IPC600, IPC-A-610, IPC-J-STD-001)
