You are familiar with air freight and know that sometimes ten things happen simultaneously with a shipment. It is precisely then that you keep an overview. We are looking for a personality for a forwarding company who has their air freight shipments under control and enjoys working with key accounts at the same time.

Tasks
- handling and monitoring air freight shipments in import and export
- looking after existing key accounts and processing daily customer enquiries
- organising collections, bookings and onward transports
- preparing and checking air freight and customs documents
- coordinating with airlines, handling agents, customers and international partners
- monitoring transit times and shipment status and reacting if something does not go according to plan
- searching for and finding solutions in case of irregularities or last-minute changes
Requirements
- completed training as a freight forwarding clerk or a comparable qualification
- professional experience in air freight, import and/or export
- good knowledge of processes in the air freight business and in export/import handling
- independent and reliable working style
- enjoyment of customer contact and taking matters into your own hands

Languages
German: spoken and written very good

This is not about simply forwarding customer enquiries and hoping someone will take care of them. You are close to the customer, know their shipments and ensure that things run smoothly. The team works straightforwardly and on equal footing – and if a shipment urgently needs to go out five minutes before the acceptance deadline, that should be more of a challenge than a catastrophe for you.
