About the job
You ensure that our business-critical platforms and services run reliably, securely and efficiently at all times. Together with a small, experienced team, you are responsible for the operation, monitoring and continuous improvement of our IT landscape - from classic server environments to modern cloud services.
In doing so, you take on a key role in operation & support and actively contribute to the stability and further development of our services. To strengthen our team, we are looking for you as
DevOps Engineer (m/f/d) 80 - 100 %
What are your tasks?
Cloud & Platform Engineering
- Operation, further development and automation of our cloud and on-premises infrastructures
- Further development and optimisation of Microsoft Azure services and cloud platforms
- Building and maintaining modern deployment, automation and operational processes
- Management of technical platform components, certificates and permissions
Automation & Continuous Improvement
- Automation of recurring operational tasks as well as IAM processes
- Implementation of minor application adjustments and technical improvements
- Optimisation of operational workflows, monitoring and support processes
- Development and maintenance of scripts as well as infrastructure-as-code solutions
- Continuous improvement of system stability, performance and operational quality
Collaboration & Service Management
- Close collaboration with development teams, IT operations and external technology partners
- Technical advice and support for changes and releases
- Participation in the continuous further development of DevOps and operational processes
What do you bring with you?
- Completed training or degree in computer science or comparable qualification
- Experience with Microsoft Azure and hybrid cloud environments
- Good knowledge of automation, scripting (e.g. PowerShell, Bash or Python) as well as infrastructure as code
- Experience with CI/CD, monitoring and modern operational processes is an advantage
- Analytical thinking and enjoyment of continuous optimisation of technical solutions
- Experience with scripting or software development is an advantage (e.g. PowerShell, Python, C#, Java)
- Willingness for on-call and support duties
- Fluent English
