WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU FOR
As an Obsolescence Manager (m/f/d), you will advise and support our projects in the field of obsolescence management from the concept phase to support during the usage phase. You contribute your expertise and develop further together with the team. In doing so, you work closely with development, purchasing, and service and take on an important interface role with a lot of personal responsibility and scope for design.
Your tasks include in particular:
- Control and further development of the OM system according to ICE 62402 to ensure contractual obligations regarding spare parts availability during the customer usage phase
- Leadership and control of the OM board as well as participation in finding solutions
- Definition of final stockpiling according to procedural specifications
- Creation of obsolescence management plans, reports, PDN/PCN and OM information for our customers according to IEC 62402
- Close cooperation with engineering and purchasing
- Participation in the continuous process optimisation of the entire OM system
- Continuous monitoring of the annual budget for the OM system
- Preparation of annual evaluations (budget evaluation and planning, processing time of reactive cases, etc.)
- Preparation of internal analyses for new projects, restart projects, retrofits, etc.
WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING
- Technical training, ideally with further education in mechanical engineering (e.g. technician HF) - comparable qualifications are also welcome
- Experience in customer service or a similar area
- Initial contact with obsolescence management or willingness to familiarise yourself with it
- Process-oriented thinking and the drive to independently advance topics and develop them strategically
- Very good user knowledge of MS Office; SAP knowledge is a plus
- High personal responsibility, initiative and willingness to perform as well as a structured, independent way of working
- Very good German and good English skills
