2nd Level ERP Support Engineer (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF75,000 - 95,000Our client is an internationally successful Swiss manufacturing company with a strong brand identity and global presence. Role:
You take on a central role in the 2nd-level support of an ERP solution and ensure that support requests are handled efficiently and sustainable solutions are implemented. In addition to operational support, you work on the further development of processes, releases, and functionalities and maintain close communication with business contacts, internal teams, and external partners.
Responsibilities:
Responsibility for the 2nd-level support of the ERP solution
Independent prioritisation, analysis, and handling of support tickets
Follow-up of support cases until sustainable resolution
Identification and implementation of optimisations for quality assurance, standardisation, and automation
Creation and maintenance of technical as well as key user documentation
Participation in release upgrades and international rollouts
Planning and conducting training sessions and workshops for key users
Advising business contacts and implementing professional requirements
Collaboration with internal stakeholders, external partners, and suppliers
Execution of planned maintenance windows and taking on on-call duties
Qualifications:
Education or further training in computer science, business informatics or comparable qualification
Experience in application or ERP support, ideally in an industrial environment
Good knowledge of ERP systems
Knowledge of IT Service Management / ITIL Foundation is an advantage
Analytical, structured, and solution-oriented working style
High degree of independence and personal responsibility
Strong customer and service orientation
Communication skills and ability to explain complex matters clearly
Team-oriented and cooperative working style
Very good German skills and good English skills; additional languages are an advantage
