Senior System Specialist Windows / Standard Applications (22176)

Task

For one of our clients from the federal administration, we are looking for an experienced system specialist for the operation of standard applications in a Microsoft Windows environment. We are seeking a very good professional or senior who, due to their experience, can be deployed directly in operational operations after a short familiarisation.
You are responsible for the integration, administration and support of complex applications based on Microsoft Windows. In doing so, you implement, maintain, monitor and care for the associated system environments and ensure stable and reliable application operation.
In the event of an error, you take over 2nd-level support. You analyse and locate faults, carry out technical troubleshooting and ensure the restoration of proper operation. If additional support is necessary to solve a problem, you involve the responsible external suppliers in 3rd-level support and maintain direct technical communication with them.
Your tasks include in particular:

• Operation and support of standard applications on Microsoft Windows servers
• Integration and administration of applications in complex system landscapes
• Ensuring the availability and stability of the supported applications
• Monitoring and maintenance of the associated system environments
• Taking over 2nd-level support and involving and coordinating external suppliers in 3rd-level support
• Participation in changes and technical adjustments

Requirements

• Several years of solid experience in operating applications on Microsoft Windows servers
• Very good knowledge of the Windows environment and application operation
• Experience in operating applications within complex system landscapes
• Very good knowledge in troubleshooting as well as 2nd-level support
• Good knowledge in the area of authentication as well as corresponding tools and protocols
• Experience in collaboration with external manufacturers and suppliers in 3rd level
• Ability to quickly familiarise yourself with existing applications and system environments and quickly work productively in operations
• Experience with technical operational and system documentation
• Very good German and good English skills
• Impeccable reputation
• Experience from the public administration is an advantage
