About the job
The Renan workshop settlement is not an ordinary workplace – but a vibrant living space. Here, rigid structure does not count, but humanity, trust, and personal responsibility do. We work straightforwardly, meet each other at eye level, and jointly create a place where everyone feels comfortable – residents as well as staff. If you want to know what that feels like: watch the short film on the homepage of our website. It shows quite precisely what awaits you with us. For our residential group "Aurora" we are looking for a committed and empathetic new team member.
Your tasks
- Support of an age- and gender-mixed residential group
- Needs-based support of our partly care-dependent residents
- Organisation of daily life and leisure activities
- Responsibility for the individual development planning of the residents
- Close cooperation with the other residential groups as well as the staff of the day structure services
Your profile
- Training or work experience in the social sector
- Commitment, willingness to work, and great curiosity for the needs of people with cognitive impairments
- A humorous, resilient, and balanced personality
- Team spirit, independence, enjoyment of networked thinking and working
- Enjoyment of irregular working hours including weekends and on-call duties
- Nursing activities are part of the daily work; you are willing to take responsibility for these and to familiarise yourself with them
- Good IT skills
- Driving licence
What we offer you
- A meaningful activity in a unique working environment
- A motivated and warm-hearted team
- Scope for design and personal responsibility
- Various opportunities to use your resources (e.g. co-organisation of annual festivals, sports and cultural offers, etc.)
- A clear organisational structure characterised by short communication paths and a contemporary management style
- Needs-based and individual support for your further training requirements
- Industry-standard salary / up to 7 weeks holiday (44 hours/week)
We look forward to your application.
