What you can contribute
- Advise projects and operational organisations on the secure planning, further development and operation of complex ICT systems of the Swiss Army
- Support projects throughout the entire lifecycle, from initial consultation through architecture reviews to operational support
- Advise customers on network architectures, segmentation and zoning concepts as well as other technical security measures
- Develop and assess security architectures, security concepts and technical specifications according to the principle of Security by Design
- Coordinate cyber security concerns with architects, engineers as well as internal and external stakeholders and represent them in expert committees
- Analyse cyber risks and develop pragmatic solutions for complex and heterogeneous IT landscapes
What makes you unique
- University of applied sciences or university degree in computer science or business informatics with functionally relevant professional experience in the field of cyber security, certifications such as CISSP, CISM or CISA are an advantage
- Experience in security consulting, architecture or engineering of complex IT systems
- Knowledge of secure network architectures with a focus on zoning concepts, network segmentation and the use of appropriate security components
- Analytical, structured and independent working style as well as strong communication and consulting skills
- Enjoy working with different stakeholders and building long-term, trustworthy partnerships
- Good active knowledge of at least one second official language and, if possible, passive knowledge of a third official language as well as good English skills
In a nutshell
With us, you work on the cyber security of a unique and extremely diverse system landscape - from modern private cloud and AI solutions to OT and air traffic control systems to proven legacy systems with specific security requirements. As a Cyber Security Advisor, you accompany internal customers throughout the entire lifecycle of their systems and actively shape their cyber security.
You can expect a challenging working environment with high personal responsibility, short decision-making paths and direct influence on the security of mission-critical systems of the Swiss Army. Your workplace is located at the Frauenfeld military base.
