The Salvation Army Foundation Switzerland, as a leading social non-profit organisation and church, offers straightforward support to people in challenging life situations. The IT Operations department of the Salvation Army Foundation Switzerland ensures reliable, structured, and customer-oriented IT support for the entire organisation. As a Service Desk employee, you are a central contact person for IT concerns, fault rectifications, and service requests. You contribute significantly to the Service Desk being perceived organisation-wide as a professional and competent service centre.Your tasks
You check and process incoming tickets in the ITSM tool, conduct initial analyses, and resolve faults independently or forward them appropriately. You support internal and external users by phone, remote access, or on-site and document all requests comprehensively. Additionally, you analyse problems in the Microsoft 365 environment as well as in the network, support the team with complex cases, and actively participate in optimising processes and workflows in IT Service Management.
Your profile
You have completed training in the IT field or possess an equivalent qualification with several years of experience in IT support. You work independently, in a structured manner, and are customer- and solution-oriented, maintaining an overview even in stressful situations. We require very good knowledge of Active Directory, Microsoft 365, networks, switches, routers, and WLAN. You communicate confidently in German or French and have very good knowledge of the other language. Teamwork, a sense of responsibility, discretion in handling sensitive data, and the ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously characterise you. Furthermore, you identify with the vision, mission, and mandate of the Salvation Army as well as its Christian values.
