Bank Vault / Precious Metals Specialist (m/f/d) (80-100%)

In this responsible role, you ensure the secure and smooth processing of our vault, safe deposit box and precious metals services. With your careful, discreet and service-oriented working style, you make an important contribution to the protection of customer assets as well as to compliance with high security and compliance standards. Your tasks include:

• You manage the bank vault and ensure correct, complete and comprehensible inventory management.
• You professionally handle purchases, sales, storage, deliveries and handovers of physical precious metals.
• You check delivered precious metals for compliance with LGT standards and coordinate precious metal deliveries with LGT branches.
• You manage safe deposit boxes from opening through changes and access to termination.
• You verify identities and access authorisations and fully and comprehensibly record all relevant processes.
• You consistently implement security, access, four-eyes and control processes, detect irregularities and escalate them according to guidelines.
• If necessary, you support the cash department in the professional handling of cash transactions.
• You discreetly advise customers on vault, safe deposit box and precious metals services and work closely with reception, private banking, compliance, trading and other internal departments, for example during inventories, audits and value transports.

• You have completed a banking or commercial apprenticeship or have a comparable qualification.
• Ideally, you have experience in the banking environment, preferably in vault management, safe deposit box support, precious metals business, cash services or valuables logistics.
• You are familiar with relevant security, compliance, anti-money laundering and internal control requirements or are willing to acquire them quickly.
• You work carefully, structured and reliably and are characterised by a strong sense of security, integrity and discretion.
• You have a high level of attention to detail, good numerical understanding and confident handling of internal systems and documentation tools.
• You are able to safely lift, carry and move loads of up to 30 kg as part of the activity and present yourself professionally, customer-oriented and team-oriented.
• You have very good German and good English skills; additional languages are an advantage.
